I played it on keyboard and found some of the “challenge” sections a bit clunky – but that’s on me. The game warns you that you should play it on a controller, and I didn’t. It was exactly as complicated and challenging as it needed to be – just – pure. I know how it works mechanically, musically, how the sausage is made – but man oh man does it still feel absolutely amazing to play. That’s the thing though – this isn’t just about musicians – this is about everyone who is unsure about themselves and whether they can meet the expectations set before them.
